So I already have a photo/text tutorial on how to do an invisible join but I thought I’d make a video version also. This video shows how to do it with double crochets in joined rounds, in addition to single crochet unjoined rounds like the photo version.
If you have any tutorial requests, let me know by leaving a comment here or on my YouTube channel! :)
I’m back with another tutorial, so soon! I’m proud of myself. I filmed a couple of them yesterday actually! Wooo! :) Anyway, this one was a request. I remember being confused about double crochet decreases when I first started crocheting too, so I was happy to explain this one!

Here’s another video tutorial for ya! I can’t really say that this one is new. It’s a remake of an old video that had terrible sound quality! But anyway, if you’d like to relearn the puff stitch without the horrible screeching background noise this time, here ya go! :)
Don’t forget to comment on my YouTube channel to let me know what other videos you’d like to see me make! :)
It’s been forever since I’ve made a video tutorial, right?! eep! Here’s a new one! This video will show you how to do a cluster stitch using 4 & 5 double crochets.
I’m still not pro at crocheting in front of a camera (have you ever tried? It’s a pain!) but I’m working on it. Also, I totally freak out when I turn the camera on and it’s time to talk. Can you tell I hate talking on camera!? hah! I need to practice so give me a reason to make more videos, please! If there are any video tutorials you’d like to see (stitches, techniques, tricks, etc), leave me a comment here or on my YouTube channel and I’ll do my best to make them! :)
I’m so excited to share this with you guys! I was nominated into a contest where I could win a pretty new LED hula hoop! After being nominated, I was chosen to move on to the second part of the contest where I had to make a video. I wanted to use this as a chance to share my hooping journey with you! This video is a mash up of new and old footage (newest at the end) so you can see me when I was a total noob and watch my skills progress!
I also wanted to share my story of what hooping has done for me. Hooping has helped me a lot physically. I have scoliosis so I generally have a lot of back pain and it can even get so bad that it’s hard to stand up straight. Hooping has helped to strengthen my back muscles and helped lessen my pain. I’ve also made some really good friends though hooping who I probably never would have met if it weren’t for our mutual love of the hoop! :)
I would really really appreciate it if you would go to YouTube and LIKE my video! Each LIKE counts as a vote that will help me win a LED hoop. My old hoop broke and I can’t afford to replace it so I would be so happy to win one!
If you’re looking to buy a LED hula hoop, be sure to check out www.hoopsofcreation.com. They make beautiful custom hoops and have more LED choices than I’ve ever seen in one place! Seriously, I love to look at their selection and think of all of the pretty color combos I could come up with!
