Heartbeart Skully: Pics From My Pattern Testers

Made by Jess

Well I’m a little late on this, but I want to share some pictures from my pattern testers who tested the Heartbeat Skully pattern for me. I hope they inspire you! I love seeing what everyone does with my patterns so if you’ve made one, please send me pics so I can see or maybe even share on the blog! :)

Pattern Testers Needed

Here’s another new hat design! This one can be made as a regular skully or with ear flaps. I’m looking for a few people to test both versions of it! Interested?

About the pattern
This is an intermediate level pattern that uses only basic stitches (single & double crochets). You’ll need 2 colors of worsted weight yarn & a size I crochet hook.

What is pattern testing?
Testing involves trying out the pattern and letting me know if you run into any typos or have any problems. I’m looking for someone who can be really critical! This is important. In the past I’ve had too many people tell me a pattern was perfect and then had other people testing the same pattern find obvious errors, etc. Please only apply if you’re really interested in offering constructive criticism.

How to apply
Please leave a comment on this post including the following:

1. Link me to your Ravelry/blog/Flickr or somewhere that I can see a few things you’ve made
2. Do you have Word or a program that lets you edit .DOC files?
3. I’d like to have testing completed by Tuesday the 12th. Is that doable for you?
4. Which version of the hat will you make? Ear flaps or regular skully?

I’ll contact you within 48 hours, by email if I choose you as a tester.

Please don’t email me about this! Just comment on this post. Thank you! :)

Thank you so much, everyone who offered to test for me! I have plenty to choose from and will be emailing you ASAP! If you’d like to know how to test for me in the future, check out this post! :)

Here is my newest hat design! I’m also working on a regular slouchy version of it that will be ready soon. But for now, I have the skully & extra long skully versions ready and I need a few people to test it! Interested?

Sparkler Bag Update

I just wanted to make a quick post to update everyone on what’s up with the Sparkler bag pattern. I know a lot of you are anxiously waiting for it! It’s currently being tested by several lovely ladies! These pictures are from Jess, one of my pattern testers. I had to share her bag with you because I love the color and I love that she made it Halloweenie!!

The pattern test should be done by the end of this week, so I hope to have the pattern up for sale next week sometime!

Also, I’m having a contest on Facebook where you could win a free pattern of your choice. Check it out! :)

Sparkler Bag: Pattern Testers Needed!

It’s finally time!! The Sparkler bag pattern is ready for testing!! Would you like to help?

What is pattern testing?
Testing involves trying out the pattern and letting me know if you run into any typos, errors, or have any problems. I’m looking for someone who can be really critical! This is important. Please only apply if you’re really interested in offering constructive criticism and have time to dedicate to focus on this.

About the pattern
This is an advanced level pattern that uses only basic crochet stitches and techniques. The assembly however, is a bit tricky, which is why I’m calling it advanced. You’ll need approximately 340 yards of worsted weight yarn & a size H crochet hook. You will need 1 yard of fabric & basic sewing supplies to line the bag (required because I need that part of the pattern tested as well).

How to apply
Please leave a comment on this post including the following:

1. Have you ever made the Sparkler Slouchy Hat?
2. Link me to your Ravelry or somewhere that I can see a few things you’ve made?
3. Are you able to sew well enough to line the bag?
4. Do you have Word or a program that lets you edit .DOC files?
5. I’d like to have testing completed by Saturday the 29th. Is that doable for you?

If I choose you as a tester, the pattern will be sent out to you by email no later than Friday the 21st.

Please don’t email me about this! Just comment on this post. Thank you! :)
