My friend calls this my angry raccoon face + Beers at the beach at sunset never gets old!
Instead of watching the Superbowl, I went to the Hooperbowl! There were around 100 hoopers there!
Cactus bewbs + New (to me) books! yay! I recently started using Good Reads, feel free to follow me if you’d like.
Here I go photographing other people’s pets again! :P
Are you Instagramming? Feel free to follow me @oolie! :)
I love how having this blog has helped me connect with so many people that I’d never know otherwise. I’ve made so many friends through blogging, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc! I like being able to put a face with a name and would love to get to know more of you, so if you’d like, you’re welcome to add me on my personal Facebook page! :)
It’s fair season again! One of my favorite things about Summer! I almost wasn’t going to share these pictures because really, how many pictures of me petting cute animals do you want to see over the years? :P But there was a yarn bombing exhibit this year so I couldn’t not share!
How rad is that?! Apparently anyone was allowed to participate (flyer here), and I totally would have had I found out about it in time. Aw well! It was still cool to see!
Ok, so now on to the cute animals!
These poor little pigs lost their mom the day after they were born. :(
Why is it so adorable when goats are jerks?! I love it! This is the perfect opportunity to show you a video (not from the fair) that I can’t stop laughing at!
It never stops being funny! :)
Obligatory photos of me feeding cute animals in the petting zoo! I don’t care that I’m almost 30. The animals will always be my favorite part of going to the fair!
Have you been to your local fair yet this Summer? What’s your favorite part?
One of the funnest things we did while my cousin was visiting, earlier in the month, was a little kayaking adventure to see seals! You might recognize this place if you’ve been reading my blog for a while. I posted about it once before. This time was a lot more exciting because the seals were actually swimming around and pretty active.
First, we found this guy chillin’ on a buoy all by himself! We had to take turns taking pictures with him! He sat up in my picture and then immediately went back to sleep. I love coming here to see them so close up!
I wish I could lay here in my kayak and chill for a while. If only there wasn’t the danger of floating away or getting hit by a boat, it’d be so peaceful and relaxing! :P
I’m finally all caught up on posting photos from all of the little adventures we went on during my cousin’s visit. I hope you’ve enjoyed all of them! :)
I photograph other people’s pets. I don’t care. They’re so cute, I wish they were mine!
New colors for a new project! Pinks, purple, oranges, yellows! ♥ ♥
The weekly giant pumpkin update! There are two marble sized pumpkins now!! yay!
I finally had time to wash my car! It makes me SO happy to thoroughly clean my car! +Thailand mail! I like stamps from other countries.
Found some old Polaroid Izones! Remember those?! I was maybe 19 in that picture. That’s my mom to the right of me, my Grandma below her, and my brother below me. And our old dogs (RIP) O.D. (top) and Nibbles (bottom). We got Nibbles when I was about 8 and I was about 15 when O.D. found us.
I was planning on posting a new Halloween tutorial this morning but I’m going to hold off until tomorrow because I want to reshoot the photos! So Instead, I’m going to share what I did this weekend! I got to go to the LA Fair this weekend! Yay!! As I mentioned before, the fair is something I look forward to all year and I especially love the animals! So please bear with me for a bit as I obsess over all of the cute animals I saw!! :P
I freakin’ LOVE kookaburras! They’re so adorable with their big heads and stumpy bodies! Even the way they move is cute. I wish I could have a pair as pets.
Why is it so adorable when goats headbutt?!
There was so much cow spit on my hand after this! SO much!
I can’t remember why I was making faces. I have three pictures with this sheep and I was making different weird faces at him in all of them. He’s so cute, I fed him more than his share of my food.
There were dinosaurs! And popsicles! Yea, no strange fair food this time. Nothing deep fried. Just popsicles!
We watched a little circus show with aerial performers. I want to do this so bad!
The girl on the left was young (13ish maybe?)! I wish I had been into such awesome things at that age. She’s gonna be so good when she gets older (she already is!).
Did you go to the fair this Summer? What’s your favorite part?
