Yarn Review: Red Heart Luster Sheen

I chose to work with Red Heart Luster Sheen because I wanted to create a large but light weight garment. This sport weight yarn was perfect for it!

Luster Sheen is 100% acrylic but I think it has more of a cottony feel to it, which I really like. It sort of has the appearance of a large crochet thread and gives very nice stitch definition.

Each skein contains a generous 307 yards, making it a very budget friendly option, especially when making something as large as my XOXO Kimono. I was pleasantly surprised that it only took 4 skeins to make a size S/M!

The color choices are a bit limited with less than 10 colors. But the neutral colors are my favorite and I will absolutely use Luster Sheen for more garment designs in the future!
