Favorite Finds: YouTube DIY Inspiration

I’m really, really wanting to start a kick ass YouTube Channel! I already have one, but have had a hard time really getting into it because I’m a huge perfectionist and have never been happy with the quality of my lighting or camera. I recently bought new lights which are amazing! But sadly I cannot afford a new camera (I’m looking to get this one) and my current one can’t be used for video because the mic is damaged & makes this high pitched buzzing sound. So I will probably be borrowing a camera to get started. I’m having a hard time getting excited to start without having the camera I want because even the one I’d be borrowing isn’t the quality I’m hoping for. But I’m trying to put my perfectionism aside and start making videos anyway. For a couple weeks, I’ve been really into looking up crochet & DIY videos on YouTube to get ideas and inspiration. Here are several video creators that I think do a good job at creating fun and helpful videos!

What are your favorite DIY, craft tutorial, or crochet channels on YouTube? What makes you really like them?

I found this article about the types of procrastinators and “the perfectionist” is totally me! So wish me luck at getting over my perfectionism and making some videos! I have so many ideas to share and I’ve gotten lots of requests for video tutorials for entire crochet patterns. I’m looking forward to eventually making complete video tutorials for my free crochet patterns.

  1. Personally I love your hats – especially the slouchy ones. The patterns are easy to follow with pictures and clear directions – thanks so much!

  2. I absolutely love the barefoot sandals!! So cute. They make me wish I lived by the ocean so I could wear them all the time :)
P.s this is for the contest/giveaway I think.
