Crochet Pattern Of The Week: Beatrice Shrug

This week’s pattern of the week is the Beatrice Shrug from Berroco! I had a hard time finding a pattern to feature this week but as soon as I saw this, I thought, “ooooh!! that’s it!!”. This is definitely on my to-make list, I’m dreaming up color combos for it! It looks like it would be fairly quick to make and the pattern seems simple enough. It could be really casual or a bit fancier depending on what yarn you use for it. This is a free pattern that you can find right here.

  1. That’s very pretty. I went to look at the pattern and it says 30″ bust. I couldn’t have worn this even when I was teenager. Certainly not now. LOL This one is for the tiny folks. Beautiful though.

    1. Thanks for mentioning the size! Now I know that I wouldn’t be able to fit into this. Bummer, this Was on my ‘Must make his Project list. Who has a 30″ bust anyway!! Even when I was at my very thinnest I was a 32″ bust. It must be sized for the pre-teen. Yikes! Don’t they have another size?. I’ll have to check it out.

  2. There are additional instructions to make this larger than 30″…
    Finished Measurements
    Bust – 30(34).
    Length – 13 1/2” (Including bottom band).
Note: Even though the actual bust measurement given seems small, due to the dolman sleeves and the open front, the fit of this garment is very forgiving.
I am by no means a small girl, but plan on trying this one out. :)
