Work In Progress: Below The Knee Leg Warmers

I’m still working on finishing up my leg warmer pattern! You can see previous posts about them here & here in case you missed them. This is the first pair of below the knee ones I’ve made. I tend to prefer wearing over the knee leg warmers but they can easily be made either way. Which do you prefer?

I used Deborah Norville Serenity Sock Yarn in Burgundy for these (in case you’re wondering). Same as the green ones I made. It’s a good weight for these (and good price!). One skein makes one leg warmer in the below the knee style. Over the knee style took one and a half skeins each. I’m hoping to have this pattern ready by the end of the month!

  1. These are cute! I wouldn’t think to wear them under the foot like that. I can see how they would help keep the feet warm though. I’ve been working on some below the knee leg warmers, also. I’ve never tried them either way so we’ll see how I like them!

  2. LOVE these burgundy below knee leg warmers. Sure would like to have pattern for making a Christ,as pair. Do you have it to share ? Thanks so much. This is the cutest thing I’ve seen in crochet.
