Favorite Finds: Barefoot Sandals

When I was a kid, my mom and I made barefoot sandals from ribbon and sewed little felt shapes and buttons on for decoration. I’d long since forgotten about them until recently when I was browsing the Free People website and saw these.  I got all excited and filled with inspiration! Of course I’m working on a pattern or two! ;)

  1. My Granny made these for us back in the early 70 with an elastic thread/yarn. We thought we were so cool. lol I would love to make some for my girls.

  6. They are beautiful, I probably wouldn’t make one because I don’t go barefoot often but I know lots of people who would.

  14. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I go barefoot almost all the time except to wear flips. I have never seen these but it reminds me of my hippie days :)
