I’m so excited to share this with you guys! I was nominated into a contest where I could win a pretty new LED hula hoop! After being nominated, I was chosen to move on to the second part of the contest where I had to make a video. I wanted to use this as a chance to share my hooping journey with you! This video is a mash up of new and old footage (newest at the end) so you can see me when I was a total noob and watch my skills progress!

I also wanted to share my story of what hooping has done for me. Hooping has helped me a lot physically. I have scoliosis so I generally have a lot of back pain and it can even get so bad that it’s hard to stand up straight. Hooping has helped to strengthen my back muscles and helped lessen my pain. I’ve also made some really good friends though hooping who I probably never would have met if it weren’t for our mutual love of the hoop! :)
