Kittens + Rock Collecting + Pretty Sunset
Yesterday, I went on a spontaneous adventure to the tidepools. It was late (just in time for the sunset!) and the tide was high, so there were no sea critters to be found this time. I did find some kittens though! There are tons of stray cats that live at the tidepools and they all start to come out of their hiding spots at dusk. It’s so strange.

I named them Socks & Skunk (he has a white stripe down his back). There were a few other kittens and their momma was nearby.

Caught in the act. Stuffing rocks into my purse. I’ve been meaning to collect some for a crafty project! So then I spent the rest of the day carrying a really heavy purse!

I love how Hipstamatic made this sunset look so amazing by adding the purple!

I hope you enjoyed my little mini adventure. I’ll have to make another trip to the tidepools sometime and get pictures of some sea creatures to show you! :)
Now that I have some rocks, I’m not sure what I want to do with them! I originally wanted to crochet over them but then I saw these cute painted owls!

(love the mini-adventure!)
Wow that sunset is gorgeous!!
I remember painting rocks as a kid. I gave one to my dad for father’s day when I was about 7 or 8 and he still has it on display!
I think you should crochet over the rocks! How beautiful! Love how the patterns show up with the contrasting colors of the rocks peeking through.
Loved this post. Next time leave the rocks in a pile to pick up later on your way back. (LOL) I do the same thing though. Looks like a beautiful day by you. Enjoy it!
