Here’s something that I made not too long ago that I’ve never shared here before… Hula Hoops! I started hula hooping almost a year ago. A few months ago, I finally figured out how to make my own hoops and where to get the supplies. They’re all wrapped in pretty, sparkley tapes so I have to show them off!

This is the first one I made:

I had a horrible time trying to photograph that one! The stars just did not want to show up in the pics!

The second one I made:

This is the one that I use the most and you can tell! I don’t think I’ll ever use white tape again. Everytime it falls, it either gets dirty or grass stained. I wish I would have taken a pic when I first made it. I had a hard time finding a spot that wasn’t incredibly messed up looking.

After that, I decided that it was too hard to use that many tapes. As you can see, there are lots of bumps in the tape. It’s really hard to keep the spacing perfect between the tapes. 

Then, I want to try mini/twin/hand hooping so I made myself a set:

This is the best tape job I’ve done so far. I was really happy with these. Unfortunately, right after I took this pic, I was using them, one slipped out of my hand, hit the stucco wall and now has a big gash in the tape which reveals the red tubing underneath. boo!
